Introduction

PVDF is still the most premier coating system applied as the highest durable grade product. Its supremacy in extreme corrosion protection and color retention performance is mostly dedicated from its unique PVDF resin structures and proper selection of approved pigments. Group Steel PVDF PPGI has been recognized for comprising at least 70% of Hylar 5000/Kynar 500 PVDF resin in its finished coating. Depending on different environmental conditions, numerous types pf primer and multi-layers of PVDF coating can be applied and now, with the advances of pigment technology, color limitation is no longer been as issue in GS PVDF PPGI.

  Supreme color retention

Brilliant as IKEA Blue color can be achieved using GS PVDF PPGI product to stay fresh as initial after 20 years
Only those selected pigments approved by Hylar 5000/Kylar 500are used, to ensure ever-lasting colors of GS PVDF PPGI. These pigments have been tested for more than 20 tears under severe UV-radiation test and have proven in maintaining their initial colors.

PVDF- Polyvinylidene Fluoride, is eventually noble to UV-radiation. Unlike other paint resins, it can withstand 6000hrs of UV-A without exhibiting any degradation of its polymer structures.

Extreme Anti-corrosion performance

With actual reconnoitering the environment conditions of PVDF product is being expose. Each GS PVDF coating has been specifically designed to suit consumer’s requirements in terms of corrosion resistance. A total 50~60mm of PVDF coating can withstand severe corrosion conditions as 100mm of PVC Plastisol coating do, but simultaneously showing outperform color retention performance under High UV-radiation.
High concentration acid mist attack causes severe discoloration of conventional PE, while GS PVDF still remains in good condition after nearly 2 years of installstions on acid pickling plant roofing.
