PE-Hiflex is a unique PPGI product introduced by Group Steel for ceiling tee bar system usage. It performs extremely high flexibility in handing complicated and crucial deformation during the roll forming of coated ceiling tee strip. By using GS PE-Hiflex PPGI product, the ceiling tee strip will have stable 0T -bend properties and longer product service life.
Under extensive research combined with precious manufacturing experiences, GS has found a solution to countermeasure the problems of those conventional 0T PPGI products in the market. Ceiling tee roll former may found the paint coating has recently crept or peeled off during the ceiling tee strip bar roll forming. Sometimes this problem may occur after a period of storage time considering there is an aging process undertaken at the bend portions.
Hiflex = High 0T-bend stability and Outrages corrosion performance.
To outperform those PE coating system used by other ceiling tee producers; Group Steel has implemented new polymer resin into both primer and PE finishcoat of Hiflex to give maximum flexibility to ceiling tee strip coating. As a result, Hiflex performs 0T no peeling off and 1T has no cracking characteristic ensuring trouble tee from coating failure during forming. It gives a better adhesion and less cracking coating; ensuring those ceiling tee bars that uses Hiflex system can have a longer life span as it provides better corrosion protection to the substrate. Some corrosion test and aging test had been undertaken to compare their formability and corrosion resistance performances, and the results showed Hiflex had outperformed other regular ceiling tee coating system.
